As one of the pillars of the much-talked-about South London scene, Dead Pretties have quickly gained attention for their face-melting live shows and bluesy bangers. To celebrate the announcement of their first UK headline tour, which starts later this month, the boisterous 3-piece have shared a garishly colourful new video for their massive recent single 'Confidence'. Playing to their strengths, we see the band delivering a high-energy performance in front of a jagged psychedelic backdrop in a clip that looks likes it's been plucked straight out of the 90s. The video flicks between the crazy colours of the live performances and darker, creepier bathroom scenes, which see singer Jacob Slater contemplating the dangers of the media in the mirror as he explains, “The public is being de-intellectualised by certain outlets of the western media, who choose the easy path of reporting on bum implants and racists when they know they have the power to shift the focus of the public eye."
